pickd ("we," "our," or "us") is a pickleball court availability aggregator for Philippines. We show real-time court availability across multiple booking platforms and redirect you to those providers to complete your booking. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website.

1. Information We Collect

pickd is designed to collect as little data as possible:

a. Personal Information:

  • pickd does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifier through the app.
  • If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include in your message.

b. Search and Filter Data:

Any filters, search terms, or preferences you set (such as district, date, time, surface, or environment) are reflected in the URL parameters of your browser. This data stays in your browser and is not stored on our servers. It is used only to display relevant court availability during your session.

c. Usage Data:

When you load the site, our hosting provider (Railway) may log technical information typical of web traffic, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and request metadata.

We also use anonymous usage analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product. The events we record contain no account or personal data:

  • Search events, including the search terms you enter.
  • Venue views and venue clicks.
  • Booking clicks.
  • Widget clicks.

Search terms are recorded anonymously and are not linked to you as a person; we use them only to understand demand for courts and locations. To approximate the number of unique visitors without using cookies or cross-site tracking, your browser stores a single random session identifier in localStorage on your first visit. Raw event data is retained for 90 days, after which only aggregate statistics (kept for up to 13 months) remain. We do not collect IP addresses, device fingerprints, or user-agent strings as part of this analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To display court availability and redirect you to provider booking platforms.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the website and hosting infrastructure.
  • To analyze aggregated usage and improve the product.
  • To respond when you contact us by email.
  • To comply with law or protect rights and safety where applicable.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. When you click through to a provider's booking platform, any information you submit on that site is governed by that provider's own privacy policy — not ours. We may share information in the following cases:

  • With infrastructure providers that help us host and operate the site (for example Railway for hosting), subject to their terms and privacy notices.
  • When required by law, such as in response to legal requests or regulatory requirements.
  • In case of business transfers, such as mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.

4. Data Security

We serve the site over HTTPS in normal operation. Because pickd does not store user accounts or personal data, the primary security consideration is the security of your own browser and device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • Accessing, correcting, or deleting data by using your browser's controls to clear cookies, cache, or site data.
  • Clearing the anonymous session identifier used for analytics by clearing your browser's site data for pickd. Analytics are aggregate-only and contain no personal data.
  • Restricting or objecting to certain processing where applicable.
